Marci Jenkins Volleyball Elite Skills Camps

Open to girls entering the 7th– 12th grades. Camp I will run Saturday July 8th through Sunday July 9th, 2023 and Camp II will run Saturday July 22nd through Sunday July 23rd, 2023.  These camps are high-level, position-specific camps, designed for players who have a mastery of fundamental skills.  Campers should arrive in top physical condition, with a positive attitude and serious work ethic. Training will focus on advanced technical and tactical aspects of volleyball.

The camp fee includes lunch and dinner meals for all campers.  Breakfast is included for our overnight resident campers.

Full payment is due by June 20, 2023.
NOTE: A small online convenience fee will be added on upon registration
LOCATION

Campers will train and play in Cassell Coliseum and the Virginia Tech Rec Sports Fieldhouse.

HOUSING & MEALS

All meals will be on campus in one of the dining halls of Virginia Tech (ranked #2 "Best Food in America" by www.niche.com).  Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are included for all resident campers.  Our commuter campers will have their lunches and dinners at the dining hall (note they will be responsible for their own breakfasts).

Resident Campers will be staying overnight in one of the dorms on campus!  Due to present protocols in place, campers will be responsible for bringing their own linens (bed sheets, blankets, bath towels, etc.).  With regrets, the Housing and Residence Life of Virginia Tech will be unable to provide this service this summer.
COVID-19 POLICY

Government and University policies at the time of camp will guide camp requirements and restrictions regarding face masks, spectators, and vaccinations.  
OTHER MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

We will have several of our counselors staying on site overnight in the dorms with our campers as chaperones.

An athletic trainer will be on site.  Please bring athletic tape with you if you know that you require taping.

A camp store will be available between sessions and after the evening session selling snacks, drinks, and camp T-shirts.
